The SIGHI Medication Guide
On about 120 pages, the SIGHI Medication Guide describes in detail and clearly arranged the numerous treatment options in systemic mast cell activation diseases (MCAD), histamine intolerance (HIT) or histaminosis in general and points out not only the advantages of numerous active substances but also their disadvantages. In addition to pharmaceuticals, medical devices, foods for special medical purposes and dietary supplements are also explained. The Medication Guide explains the therapy concept and provides numerous suggestions for basic therapy and symptomatic additional therapy of the chronic phase as well as for the treatment of the acute phases. Measures in special situations such as anaphylaxis / anaphylactic shock, infectious diseases, vaccinations, pollen allergies, pregnancy and breastfeeding, as well as premedication and other precautions against anesthesia, operations and dental treatment are also presented. There is also a list of incompatible active substances and instructions for assessing the tolerability of preparations. And many more tips and tricks.
The SIGHI Medication Guide is currently being translated into English, which is expected to last until November 2018. Until then, it will only be available in German. Please support the translations to English with a membership or with a donation. Thank you very much.
